About Us

I've spent my career here in Michigan as a writer, producer, director and editor of movies big and small. I've scraped together money to get the lowest of low budget movies off the ground as well as worked on large productions with international distribution through the likes of Silver Nitrate Pictures, New World Distribution and Lionsgate Films.

I'm a believer in independent movie production and the ability to make those movies right here in Michigan. In addition to my current work on several films contained in an original horror universe, I'm also working with elected officials to restore Michigan's film credit program to help encourage independent film production and support the creative artists that want to build a career in the state I call home. 

I'm proud to both see my own creative visions through the process from script to screen and support others that want to do the same. 

Years ago, this guy named Jeff Burton (the guy up above me there with the creepy pic) got tired of listening to me talk about all of my self-professed great movie ideas and challenged me to start writing them down. So, I did.

I spent my career as a communications professional and speechwriter, so I was familiar enough with how a keyboard works to start putting together some screenplays which started Jeff and I down our path of collaboration and movie making.

As a veteran of Michigan's political circles (please don't hold that against me), I'm also working to allow Michigan to compete for film production once again by creating a new, responsible film tax credit program that supports independent film making and hiring Michigan workers for these jobs.

I'm a believer that good writing is at the heart of good movies big or small and am excited to bring my own writing to the screen and help other film makers realize their own creative visions.
